Wedding Shower Invitation
In February 2020, a family friend of mine asked me to design an invitation for her wedding shower that was to be held in March.
First, I spoke with Kaitlin about all the details of her shower and the colors of her wedding.
Then, I designed the invitation and sent it to her to see if she wanted any changes.
Finally, I sent her the final design, and she loved it!
T-shirt design
To create a t-shirt design, I first decided that I wanted to do it for my church, Siloam Baptist Church. The first step that I took was to make a bunch of sketches. Then I took them to my design programs to create the vision I was seeing in my mind!
After I designed it, I created a survey and sent it to all of the Siloam Baptist Church members, as well as posting it on Instagram and Facebook for any extra feedback that I could get.
After getting the survey results, I made any adjustments that were suggested and posted the t-shirt on teespring.com to be available for purchase.
This t-shirt design was very successful. I was able to sell 47 t-shirts in just two weeks!
Family Counseling Service brochure
From October to December of 2019, I had the pleasure of doing non-profit work for Family Counseling Service of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Family Counseling Service was in need of an informational brochure, website updates, logo updates, and social media help. One of my main projects was to design a brochure that they can provide at doctor offices, schools, other offices for parents and children to be provided information about their services.
